Teacher Mentor Program at New York School for the Deaf
At New York School for the Deaf, Fanwood, it is our goal to ensure that new teachers receive the support needed in order to be successful in the classroom. Fanwood is a workplace that is supportive and welcoming to all.
In order to ensure success, NYSD has established a Mentor Program for newly employed Teachers. This program focuses on supporting the growth and development as a teacher, as well as broadening the knowledge and skills in the academic environment that serves our students.
